Thursday Night Shoots

Thursday night shoots are a great introduction to tournament archery for archers of all levels. We shoot 30 arrows on a variety of targets from week to week including Vegas round, NFAA 5-spot round, or a USA Archery 18M round. We're always happy to introduce new archers and answer any questions concerning scoring and competition.

The cost is $10 to shoot with half the money paid back to the winners of the competition.

19 January 2017 Thursday Night Shoot

As always, we had some pros on the line along with new beginners.  We scored a 30 arrow Vegas round, followed by a "Shoot-up" competition. It was a great night with some personal bests (Congrats Wes!) several close matches, including a one arrow shoot off for a match that was too close to call.  Kaci Therrien made a fantastic run and improved her standing by 3 places with some phenomenal shooting!

29 December 2016 Thursday Night Shoot

We had a great shoot tonight with many archers visiting this week for Griv's Christmas Camp. We shot a 30 arrow qualification with Vegas scoring followed by a "shoot up" competition. The shoot up competition is an opportunity to improve your ranking. It is a one-end match style competition that starts with the lowest two scoring archers. The winner of that match competes against the individual above until you reach the top. 

The finals were broadcast live on Facebook with great commentary from Griv.
